Protein when dinner is a restaurant
Calories decide the plate. Protein decides the anchor.
OptaFit’s menu scan filters dishes by calories left. Protein is the other number worth knowing before you sit down, because restaurant meals hide it under sauce and starch.
You do not need a lab. You need a range and a habit:
- Pick a dish whose main item is meat, fish, eggs, tofu, or dairy
- Keep the starch as the side, not the bowl
- If the scan’s Top is light on protein, check whether the Backup is the better anchor at a similar calorie cost
Set the range once
The protein intake optimizer turns body weight, goal, and activity into a daily range and a per-meal split. It is an estimate for fat loss, maintain, gain, or recomp — a starting point, not a prescription.
Divide that range by the meals you actually eat. A dinner out then has a job: cover one of those meals without emptying the calorie ring.
Log the plate with Eat this so tomorrow’s scan still knows what is left.
The same idea in Malay, using food you can buy in Malaysia, is Cara cukup protein harian. Mamak orders are on Apa nak order kat mamak bila diet.
Not medical advice. Estimates only.
